Technology and Instrumentation in Particle Physics 2009 (TIPP09) is
the first of the new series of international conference in the field
of particle physics sponsored by IUPAP. TIPP is focusing on all areas
of detector development and instrumentation in particle physics. The
conference shall foster and encourage world wide cooperation and
communication in those fields.
In these days, the instrumentation developed for particle physics experiments has many applications in other fields. TIPP will also cover these developments and applications. This will help to keep the focal point of these activities in particle physics.
